Have you ever felt a pair of eyes trained on you? A feeling that someone – you were sure – was watching you? Watchless takes this timeless idea and primal fear, and expresses it in a way that marries together influences of the Baroque, pop, and cosmic horror. Over the course of this short work, our main characters, the Watched and the Friend, experience what it means to be watched, as the third character, the Watcher, maintains vigil over them and leads us to an eventful climax. What is the Watcher? A figment of collective imagination and fear, or something else entirely…?
